Afters receiving a lot of questioning from our members about the Alcan health-insurance plan for the retirees, the RCRA has decided to call for a study from a  consultant in insurance. Meetings were held to explain the results to the retirees; they were presented in Saguenay, Lac-St.-Jean, Shawinigan and Beauharnois.

More than 200 retirees attended to theese meetings and it was well appreciated by the participants. Knowing that every case is personnal, the goal of the operation was not to give any advices to the retirees but just to inform the retirees on the services we receive for the money that we pay compare with Quebec public health-insurance.
