Welcome on the English section of the web site of your association. We invite you to regularly consult it in order to get up-to-date informations about everythings concerning our pension plan.

We are also looking after our Alcan complementary health insurance plan and we are constantly making pressure on the company in order to improve it at the lower cost possible.

This site is primerarly dedicated to all the retirees of RIO TINTO ALCAN members and their beneficiaries of the  Alcan Pension Plan. The administration comittee of the RCRA is composed of 11 directors,  3 of them are elected in a general assembly called every year in the month of May in Arvida, Saguenay, province of Quebec. Meetings are held once a week for about 9 months in a year.

The financing of the RCRA comes only from the contributions of the members so that we are free from any influence in our actions. That is why we are asking you to join us if you are not yet a member of the association and dont forget to renew your membership card  on every new January.

The RCRA also publish at least once a year but as needed a bulletin called  "Le Flambeau" in order to inform our members on our principal activities. We are including a copy of every publication on this site for your convenience (except for the  publication of  April 2007 that has not been translated).
